They got me.
They should tear down the towers but build a new tower or two. Not the same dorms they have been replicating these last several years.

For what it’s worth, I don’t find the new dorms visually appealing at all. I’m
sure the amenities of what they replaced is much better , but they don’t look
great honestly. It’s just a personal opinion to a degree, but I would have preferred
sticking to a campus theme.

I agree with you, most of the newer buildings at UH are value engineered, I get it, but these buildings should be designed to last at least 100 years. The only ones that look like they’ll last that long are the solid concrete parking garages.

Mercy to the portal was a better joke… unfortunately one of y’all took it down…
I remember the Daily Cougar doing a spoof of Yeoman being investigated for recruiting violations as an April Fools joke. A year or two later it became a self-fulfilling prophesy
