I recall an interview where he said he wanted to do more Air-Raid concepts (since he’s a TxTech Alumn, and had a preference for that), while Holggi wanted to run the ball more.

IIRC, he was the QB for a set of downs when Holgorsen made his famous “I can’t coach this ****” statement on ESPN. Our starter was slightly injured or lost his helmet, because that was the last time I remember Logan Holgorsen ever playing.
I can’t make up my mind which is more egregious nepotism. Clay Helton, Tyson Helton or Logan Holgorsen.
Since Kim Helton did it twice with his sons, I give the nepotism award to Kim Helton.
Arrogance. These kids need to learn to go where they’re needed, not wanted. Take TJ Finley for example. Had he just stayed at TXST where he actually had some success, he’d probably be a mid round draft pick. Instead, he felt like he was too good for the G5, hit the portal 3 more times, only to end up at a different G5 school every step along the way. Lagway will learn the hard way 
Agreed, but tbf - Finley left because the HC brought in some highly-sought P5 QB to be QB1, but ended up leaving bc the Tx. State fans complained.
I believe that QB had some SA allegations, iirc.
You’re talking about Jayden De’Laura. And Kinne only brought him in bc Finley wouldn’t commit to returning to TXST. He drug his feet bc he thought he’d be a hot commodity in the portal, so GJ brought in De’Laura. Then fans complained about his “case” that was dismissed prior to him committing to TXST
Close. Logan started that game because Clayton was injured. Logan threw that garbage pass and Dana had Bryson Smith go in as he blurted out those expletives.
Bryson Smith was outplaying Logan in multiple games when Tune was hurt but Dana refused to start him at QB

Idk. Clay managed to almost throw for 2000 yards in the season so you could argue he was all we had.
In Logan’s case, Bryson Smith was clearly outplaying him but daddy kept him the game. “He was born with the playbook.”
