Volleyball hosts #17 BYU tonight at 6:30pm in Dig Pink night. The team is trying to raise at least $1,000 in donations in conjunction with tonight’s match.

BYU is a pretty solid program so let’s hope for the big upset tonight.

Coogs opened up a five point lead in the first set before squandering it and appeared to have won the set until the winning point was overuled on replay. The blue Cougars easily won the second set before sweeping the match 3-0.
All I wanted to see this year was improvement. CDR has the team going in the right direction. We were undersized compared to BYU, but the girls played hard through the entire match and put up a good fight.
Ready to beat UCF next Friday.
This was first the first match I attended this season. I don’t remember ever seeing a team commit so many overpasses and oversets. A couple of those in the 1st set resulted in easy kills for BYU.
It wasn’t that. Their hitters and blockers averaged exactly 1/2" taller than ours.
We just had too many attack errors.
I will not argue with your facts, but we sat two rows back from the BYU bench and their starting line up look taller than ours and after the first set did a nice job of blocking our shots.
