We have season tickets and bought for this game through the link. It is a shame how our ticketing dept operates. We are still in diapers and our big boy pants keep falling off.

Apologies if I missed it, but did they ever send out an email to season ticket holders? Just trying to figure out if I need to buy tickets through Toyota Center.

Nope. Another in long list of ticket office failures. Their official position is “it’s not our game so we didn’t feel like we needed to notify our fan base.” Buy tix from Toyota Center or 3rd party.

The ticket office sent out emails to folks about the game. They also tweeted about the event several times.

  1. It’ll be a mix of schools present, not just UH and Aggie.
  2. If that happens, the blame goes on UH folks for not doing due diligence to buy tickets through the Toyota Center website, which is what the ticket office has pushed.

There are still many tix available through the Toyota Center website. The UH section is 119, so I purchased 6 tix in 115.

It is 1 ticket for both games. LSU and UT are first, I’m guessing a fair amount of those people don’t hang around for the 2nd game. Maybe UT fans to root against aggy.

it’s my understanding the ticket office didn’t have anything to do with this game? CP was supposed to send out links to different donor levels and dropped the ball. the ticket office has made mistakes, but they had nothing to do with this one

They did end up sending out a link. I think the tickets were all scooped up. Hinted at another release if demand increased. (Second level opens up)
I would go ahead and buy tickets through toyota center.

Geez

if you follow the Coogs, take some initiative. I had no problem after hearing about the tournament buying 6 center court tickets. Not saying I’m smarter, but I did not expect to be spoon fed by our athletic department for a non-UH sponsored event.

And, for the record, I received numerous notices about the event from various UH Twitter (X), Facebook, and emails.

Tickets even on the secondary market are not that expensive. I bought 6 tickets center court 6th row when they went on sell and plan to flip them for upper deck seats if they ever release them. I am shocked based upon the UT, LSU, A&M and UH fan bases that the tickets are not selling any better than they are, has anybody seen any advertising for this?

I have seen no advertising yet, I assume they will run spots during Rockets games when the event gets closer. Cheapest tickets on StubHub are $80. They are cheaper if you go straight thru the Rockets website.

Careful with Aggy they are a legit trap. Wish it weren’t so but their guard play and experience is going to be tough.

I’m looking forward to this. My wife and I got two seats on the first row of normal seats (not court side) right behind the basket.
