I’m not going to argue with you on that point but the 4 incoming pac12 schools have all said that getting into Texas is what they are really excited about being in the Big 12.
Although Texas has always been available to them, playing games in Texas makes recruiting Texas better for them.
Possibly. Another reason could be their non-conference P5 game to boost their playoff standing. The only other nonconference game they have scheduled for 2028 is Temple.
Levine said that recruiting has no sway to convince teams to play here and the fact that teams have either refused to play us in Houston, or bought out return games, proves him right.
As far as the Arizona schools wanting to recruit here, everyone wants to recruit here, now that they are in the conference and won’t be playing in California nearly as much, might as well make lemonade out of it.
