Student housing at 97% full with another 1000 dorm by 2027.
-Almost 50k . I’d like for us to break 50k.

I read where we’re up to 6600 freshmen enrolled this fall. I also read where UT-Austin enrolled 16,600 freshmen. I think the total enrollment for each school is about the same but the disparity in freshmen which is when the student develops the strongest bond to the school means that in one generation, UT has 250,000 more fans. Does the 6600 we have represent only the amount who want to enroll who qualify ?

UT has auto admit. A lot of those auto admits don’t make it to the second year. That’s why there a. lot of feeder systems to transfer into UT.

UH has auto acceptance too. UT is significantly harder for auto acceptance. I think you have to be in he too 6% of your class for UT. I don’t know about test scores.

With UH, it’s a combination of class ranking and test scores. My son has a decent GPA at 3.35, but that puts him in the 3rd quartile. He will be a college freshman next fall. He wants to go to UH, but he doesn’t qualify for auto acceptance. If he was 2nd quarter, he would still need an 1170 on the SAT.

Where are the stats for traditional students?

Dorms are 97% full so I’d say those are the traditional ones. Not counting the few other apartments near campus.
