WKU has wanted out of CUSA for a long time even moreso with all of the FCS moveups.

Not sure that the MAC would constitute an upgrade.

That’s long been regarded as the nation’s WORST I-FBS football conference.

Over modern CUSA, I feel like there is not only a stability and regionalism upgrade but also outside fans seem to like MAC more than CUSA

MACtion + MASSction

I can tell you this much.

CMU has the MAC’s biggest football stadium…and it only seats 30,255.

Didn’t they ban tailgating?

Where?

Ummm… Whuuut!?

Not quite illegal but close enough

Uh no.

They have a lot of tailgate rules, but tailgating still occurs. It’s not illegal.

Time for some MAC-tion!!

Those aren’t much worse than our rules.

Love CUSA weekdays in October w 'Stros regular season done. Awesome stadium settings.
November weekday MACtion w UH/college hoop starting harder to fit.

UMass fits the MAC AD business plan.
Ancient WPA style FB stadiums w no debt & minimal $ upkeep.
Hoop facilities also concert/graduation, etc facilities & upkeep out of university general fund.
A few FB buy games pays for entire AD for MACtion.

Exception Akron.
AD pays $2.2 million of annual $4.3 million cost of stadium.
At Ohio State, at Rutgers, at South Carolina is 2024 to pay the bill.

Horrible move to leave MAC business model without a conference change.
No reflection on Mac Rhoades. He did what it took to get that stadium done.
Akron with between @5k and @8k home crowds in 23.

Some mention of VCU to AAC next for A10.
