University of Houston Magazine

At no point in our Duke game did we even lead 64-63, much less win 64-63.

We took the lead 68-67 when Roberts hit 2 FT’s. Our first lead late in the game.

The score is on ESPN and the game is on YouTube. Right now.

Easy to look it up. And if you actually watched the game live you know the score.

The Author did not watch the game nor look it up. Neither did her Proofreader.

More people,Nationwide, know way more about that Duke game than they do about any facet of UH. Just the way it is.

A few seconds of energy gets the score correct.

It’s possible the source they checked had it wrong. I don’t remember the score and I watched it. I don’t care about the final numbers, just the W. There are always unconsidered possibilities…

You don’t need to grade on a curve to render a grade that is fair nor should it be a simple pass or fail. And since this seems to be the only thing in the article that is wrong then unless your higher standard is absolute perfection you shouldn’t make a mountain out of a molehill. Deduct a couple points for the wrong score and enjoy the rest of the feature. The wrong score literally changes nothing nor does it actually matter in the grand scheme of things. It’s just a simple mistake that they can put a simple correction in the next edition.

We were talking about ANOTHER Patrick.

It sounded like y’all were thinking of pray10. I just called him Coogfans Patrick because the name Patrick was brought up. I forgot most people don’t know/remember pray10’s name was Patrick.
