I will not believe MJ’s 105 yard KO return “just happened”. There was scheme blocking. We work on that in practice. Great job by our special teams coaches.

He’s very talented and I’m glad he chose UH for the last two years of his eligibility. I wish he had been with us as a freshman.

This win was definitely a team effort. Still, the kid is special, and those initials “MJ” says it all. While coincidental, it’s still interesting to note how Marcus Jones’ initials are the same as Michael Jordan, or Magic Johnson. I don’t know what Marcus Jones’ future is like, but he has definitely been Michael Jordan-esque for UH.
