Highest public, barely highest for overall (We were 133 at the last peak).
From the 2024 rankings to the 2025 rankings, there was a drop. 70->74 and 133->144. So no double rise. Wondering what it would have been if there was constant improvement, but UH took a hit last year.
Ohio State edges out Case Western in the rankings thanks to stronger graduation/retention outcomes, broader national reputation, and the scale of its flagship programs. CWRU is still highly respected, but OSU’s size and visibility give it the ranking advantage. Times are changing and Case has dropped a little.
