Uzan: Declares for the draft; withdraws. Milos is coming back

Wow. Look at all those goal posts you had to throw up and move, simultaneously. Impressive.

Was expecting to see Chase McCarty getting minutes who seems to bring what Arcenaux brought

I Guess If You Say So GIF

if our only problem was uzan needing to learn our system in november then doubt we start 4-3 considering by we had everyone else return lol

while having our starting PG return should help mitigate that a bit the early season will still be rough since the majority of our rotation will be majority players who have little to no experience in our system no matter what

The loss to Auburn was not on guard play, but rather Broome having a monster game against our bigs.

he did go off but the offense late in that game looked eerily similar to what happened last monday iirc :grimacing:

Best of luck to Milos. Hate to see him go but it’s never a bad luck for the program to put guys in the NBA. Go Coogs!

I kind of think it’s more likely that he comes back.

Duke started 3 freshman and had 4 losses the entire season. You are not losing 2-3 games for each one you start.

It’s a win either way tbh.

Not from the fans POV who want that first chip for UH & CKS. The only thing he lacks in his resume.

Nope, they won because they had a freshman that wasn’t a starter and went 0-5 from behind the arc in his first game, then hit 5/8 against us. He was +13 for the game, versus Broome’s +4

And then guess what? He would still be starting as a freshman

I dont think thats his point. His point is right off the bat he wouldnt start for whatever reason. Ive been told he needs to put on weight and shoot it better. I think hes going to be exciting regardless but a bit erratic at times and not consistent.

Sampson has always encouraged kids to go through the process.

Armoni & Hinton left early but there was no NIL back then to stay around.

Uzan is probably a R2 pick at the moment but I could see him take a Grimes esque All American leap next season and parlay that into a firm R1 pick

Yep… Petitford lit us up… and is also in the draft.

I think this is right.

Not the same type of player.

If McCarty can defend and rebound I think he will find his way on the court as a small ball 4.

He has had a freshman pg before….and this freshman is way more advanced than the previous.
