Looking at the box score and my gosh did Cory Davis Jr. struggle. I’m just shocked. This sucks.

Welp, I’m glad I didn’t waste my money on that nonsense.
I doubt it. Drexel lost last Friday to Bowling Green, who was 13-19 last year. Bowling Green is 1-1 this year, after losing to mighty South Dakota the other day.
It’s every bit the soul-crushing, brutal loss that you think it is. There’s a reason why the tournament organizers paired us with Drexel in the first round.
Likely a lot of people not spending money on UH basketball this season if results are like this
remove robs stats
everyone else on the team shot 2-18 from 3…this same squad shot 50% without rob game one
and why was corey the one shooting the game winner and not rob? not a jab, a real question. was rob triple teamed?? corey was 1-7 from the field at that point …
just to be clear guys … we have no home court for an entire year … ive been warning yall not to get too high of expectations … this is a tom penders type team … lots of guards and a couple of short juco bigs that can’t score … NIT bound would be a successful season for this group … i hope they prove me wrong
Luckily no one could see this. Keep losing games like this and not many will see any games this year.
I understand the bit about expectations needing to not be too high given our lack of a home court, but come on.
We should ALWAYS expect to beat the Drexels of this world, especially with the conference’s leading scorer coming back for his Senior season.
Truly an embarrassing INCOMPREHENSIBLE defeat.
As bad as Applewhite losing to Tulsa in football.
Let’s hope that this does NOT become the norm, and that we just had an off night and rebound.
Great comparison.
Well it is one game. It was something that Penders teams were known for. 20 win season but with one bad loss and a couple of big wins. It just hits harder when it happens so early.
A terrible loss #ForTheCity right out of the gate. Smh tough being a Coog.
Drama queens, all of you. It’s a very new team still learning to play together and on the road for the first time. Disappointing but they’ll get better.
its easy to say that, but this was supposed to be our break through year…and here we are game 2 lossing to the projected second worst team in a low mid-major, who already lost to a bad mid-major
its one game but this is deflating…ive watched every AAC team this year. who all have new players. hell ucf has its 3 best players injured…i only feel comfortable saying we are better than usf/ecu in a 12 team league
Can’t get much worse
According to who? I want to know who predicted we would have a breakout year with no home games.
Thank God we have a medical school coming…maybe they can work on a cure for sports depression.
EVERYONE in our program…
i can link you to quotes from staff and players about how the tourney drought ends this year…sampson on like 15 occasions/interviews said this will be unquestioned his best team in houston (and houston last year barely missed the tourney). * the practice facility hangs a banner for every tourney team* a ton of player interviews said one more banner will go up this year…after we beat tourney projected baylor, sampson said baylor might have a better starting 5 than houston but they dont have a better 11 player rotation, we have depth. when rob passed on going pro the statemnt preached about something special happening this year.

not sure where you have been but this was proclaimed by everyone in our program as our break through year
Have you head the term “coach-speak?” If Sampson said something like “well this is my best group of talent but there are a lot of teams in our conference with more talent and we don’t have a home court to play on this year so my goal is for us to finish above .500?” How would you have reacted to that?
hopefully this is our worst game of the year, like UH football at Tulsa.
