Hawkins led the team in rebounds with nine and Branch led the team with two assists. Barnes has now hit at least one three-pointer in the last 18 games.
_ _ USF: USF finished the game with three players in double figures led by Enna Pehadzic and Elisa Pinzan with 12 points each. Tamara Henshaw led the Bulls with 15 rebounds and Pinzan finished with three assists.

* Houston drops to 15-12 on the season and 9-5 in conference play. * The Cougars shot 32.8 percent from the field, compared to 47.1 percent from USF. The Cougars grabbed 14 offensive rebounds compared to nine from USF,as well as posting 11 second chance points compared to eight from USF.
Probably the worst performance of the season as the Coogs scored 15 points in the 1st half and needed a furious rally in the 4th to even make it as close as it was. Coogs can’t come out flat like this and expect to win.
