Coogs down 2 at the end of 3. Basically a back and forth game. Coogs can win this if they can get some stops.

Coogs lead by 2 with 40 seconds left. Arkansas ball.

And of course…OT. So many close games this year for this team.

There are so many gifted recruits in the Houston area and I would love for our Cougars to be able to recruit a few. Let’s face it, if this were the men’s program coach Hughey would already be gone.
I like him and I like his attitude. I also think his recruiting is getting better. With the improved facilities recruiting should continue to get better.

Good thing is that we return Angela Harris and Branche along with some talented youngsters. Jazz Harris should also be back. And, we’re bringing in 3 six feet+ recruits.

This should be a solid team next year if Hughey can get buy-in. That seemed to be the main issue this season.

I hope they play Rice next year. It would be neat to see 6-9 Nancy Mulkey at the Fertitta Center.
