He will still be 19 on draft day. He will be 23 when he gets his first free-agent contract. Amazing opportunity for him.

Wondering if our players are staying next year is better than wondering if our head coach is staying with us next year.

Hard for me to see CKS retiring soon. He enjoys the young men and his family too much. He has a good thing and knows it.
It makes sense for Sampson to know, so he can plan for the scholarship.
You could argue that CKS’s tutelage rivals that of NBA teams…
No classes to worry about and unlimited practice for pros, though.

Actually I don’t because in the NBA, there is no defense played until the second round of the playoffs 
Not when CKS was coaching…
I know they just switch everything now but is it that teams are playing less defense or that scorers are just way more skilled these days?
If you look at the NBA, the best defensive teams include Boston and Milwaukee who happen to be the best teams overall.
So a great defensive team today often translates to a contender.
