Water bottles not allowed in?

As we were walking into the stadium, one of the security guards told my SIL that bottled water isn’t allowed in. My brother argued that an email from the athletics department at the beginning of the year specifically mentioned sealed water bottles from a company (in other words not just a reusable bottle) could be brought in.

Deaf ears from the guard and started the night on a sour note.

The stink eye from the trill burger salesperson when I left no tip for counter service food means I won’t be eating there again. Tipping culture is out of hand.

I thought the bottled water thing was specifically for the Rice game.

Athletics sent out a text about staying hydrated or something. The last time they sent that kind of message they were allowing unopened bottles in.

Yesterday people were doing the same thing but ended up having to chug the water before going in. Then the PA announced where to find the water refilling stations… but with what bottles now?

The whole thing was a cluster and a fail in communication by athletics.
