So in 1977 I was ‘fortunate’ enough to have friends that were Arkansas Razorback fans.

Their dad approved my riding with them in their Winnebago to Little Rock, Arkansas.

So many of the old timers that are left know we got pistol whipped on 10/22/77.

I bring this up because on 10/20/ 77 the great rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd had a plane crash.

So when we rolled into Little Rock I saw signs stating the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert dated 10/22 was canceled.

Bummed about Lynyrd Skynyrd and getting hosed 34-0 by Arkansas.

Tough weekend for a 13 year old Coog Fan.

A little off beat…. and the answer is ‘YES’

I’ll always love the Coogs!

Terrible game. Could not get out of Arkansas fast enough.
