I believe Fritz brought in enough talent to compete this year. Literally, the only question mark I have is whether the new DC can keep the defense playing at a high level.

Rather than complain or lament the preseason ranking, the onus is on UH to prove them wrong. I am optimistic.

I don’t know how anyone can make any reasonable rankings with the way rosters fluctuate these days.

Maybe it’s possible with the usual suspects because they’re going to get top talent whether it’s through high school recruiting or transfers.

But after the top 10 or 15 teams, seems to me there’s no way to really know with most teams.

Power ratings at seasons end are important. At beginning of the year they mean NOTHING. Ask Arizona State…

Exactly….weren’t they picked last in the Big 12? If so then I would say they were 60 something in the ridiculous ESPN ratings.
