8 SEC teams in the tough sledding group… seems like UNC should be in that group, too…
What happened to the “they only have 2 days to prepare for our defense” line of thinking. Better second round than third.
Reminder of what??? A win?
Hall of Fame coach in Few offsets the short prep time for sure but we do have benefit in first half of their not experiencing our style of play before.
Sitting in Birmingham through that game left me knowing we weren’t the team that earned the 1 seed due to injuries and whatever. Tramon saved our ass in the Auburn game but the Miami defeat was not a shock after sitting through the NKU game.
Details…every game and every year is different. Sometimes, you gotta give the other team credit, too.
But I trust this team more than any other.
I believe!
Take Georgia and the points
That you can’t take a 16 seed lightly… that NKU team played us hard as hell.
Losing to 16 would suck but would yall be okay with it, if it guaranteed us a trip to the finals next year? Lol
Interesting. CBS had a graphic showing the West region as the toughest but the Midwest wasn’t far behind. Claimed the East was the easiest.
Gonzaga rankings is versus their conference opponents. What would those stats look like in the Big 12?
Well, there you go…give them credit, then
I did… not sure what the hell you’re talking about…
The entire point of my post was the Coogs won’t take a 16 seed lightly as they had to work HARD to beat NKU just 2 years ago…
I get hyperbole but this isn’t what i was suggesting.
I would imagine that 8/9 seed teams expect to play a 1 seed and do some planning before their first round games, if it is only the coaches.
Jason, his name is Kyle, not Francis. I have a cousin named Francis, it’s not her either.
BTW, you look a lot like Warren Oates.
I just thought that dementia had set in…
Zags vs the 5 seeds.
Seems like the committee really relied on WAB, SOR and KPI
