We got screwed with Gonzaga

It’s a movie reference, guys.

It’s a stout region, but the path is the path. We know how this goes.

Clemson gives me a little more concern than Gonzaga, but one game at a time. The Zags are good though — Nembhard is going to be a contributing point guard in the NBA like his brother. The Vols are a lot like the Coogs, but not as many shooters.

I know that, it’s from Stripes which I have seen at least a half dozen times. You were poking fun and so was I.

I agree with RezClone that all of this is BS.

I’ll take any team as long as they’re not a crazy high volume 3 pt shooting team. I dunno, is Gonzaga? Haven’t really followed them this year

No, they are low volume. 314th in the number of 3s the shoot. 145th in 3P%

I wish we had Jacob McFarland healthy!!!

We be the big time favorites to cut the nets.

6-11 gazelle who can block shots, rebounds & rim run :boom::boom::boom: :open_mouth:

He’d be a great depth piece for a Six game run. No doubt.

But, not sure how much playing time he would actually get if there isn’t extreme foul trouble or injuries.

Still looks a little light in the britches.

Florida got screwed with UConn

People really don’t’ get how messed up putting Zags at 8 seeds is. When you go through and look at the last 25 years of KenPom stats to see who actually has a shot at a national championship you get a very exclusive list, though slightly longer than other years.
Only 8 teams make it and the Zags are one.
UH, Tennessee, Duke, Iowa State, Florida, Auburn, Wisconsin, and the Zags.
Arizona and Alabama are fractions off on their defense. SO if you really want throw them in too.

Also, Mark Few and Kelvin Sampson have never coached a game each other and UH has never played Gonzaga before.

Well, yeah, but then, based off what you’re saying and the data you give, Gonzaga could have been seeded 2 or 3, and that wasn’t gonna happen. Until this last release, Gonzaga had been well out of the polls since mid-January, and just last week was somewhere around 32, which amounts to about an 8-seed in the dance.

While I would agree they may be slightly underseeded and are always gonna be a dangerous draw on brand alone, I wouldn’t call the 8-seed criminal nor am I necessarily worried about potentially drawing them in the second round. There’s far more other teams the committee over/under valued.

I would be happy if it leads to a home and home in the next few years. I can do a5 hour drive to Spokane easily, and they’ve shown willingness to do a big game in Seattle, since they have enough alumni in town.

Florida is gonna blow the doors off UConn.

I agree with this. UConn will be lucky to be within 20 at the half against Florida.

Florida is the only team in this tournament that I want to avoid seeing at all costs

I would pick Florida to win too. But playing team with back to back nattys is getting screwed. Past is indicative of present.

Just kidding. Mocking OP. Gonzaga is a good team but to act like we are getting screwed is laughable.
