I think Notre Dame will obliterate Cincy. The same way they snuffed out an overrated Temple a few years back.

Fighting Irish QB Jack Coan exited the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury, and his status for this game is questionable.

I would definitely take the under here. And I rarely do it.

I will be watching and rooting for Cinn but I like ND by 7 +.

I see Cinn being a similar physical match up for ND as Wisc.
ND WHIPPED Wisc in Wisc last saturday.

The irony is the ND QB is the former Wisc starter who was pushed out for a 5 star.

They haven’t played since 1900?

The awe factor for Cincy should be worth a TD for the Irish.

I just think Cincy is overrated. This week will tell the tale. That ND team on Saturday was good.

I want for Cincy to win and run the table.

Then I want for UH to upset them in the conference title game.

That’s the best of all world’s scenario. It only happens once every 100 years.

That game was in Chicago.

Temple took Notre Dame to the wire. Almost won that game. I agree that Cincinnati tends to shrink when the spotlight is on them.

This might apply to all teams ranked from #3 all the way down. Georgia and Alabama seem to be in their own world right now.

I just wish we were on that big stage with a level of coaching and talent that justified us being there.

That Temple/ ND game in a sold out NFL stadium was epic. It was their OU showcase game.

I’m a little more bullish on Temple than most here. They’ve been competitive in the AAC and they are essentially the University of Philadelphia…their downfall was failing to get an on campus stadium built.

You have to have a campus identity. It was why Briles and Sumlin always coached into a headwind.

Our stadiums give us a rallying point…like our own mead hall? They’re as much of a personality as our coach or our team.

I agree you have to have a place to call your own home. I like the buzz around Reliant games but when the game’s over you feel like you’re walking out into another city. It ain’t home.

Hopefully it was clear but I am not knocking Cincy. I believe that very few teams are dominant this season. All have looked vulnerable except for a select few. I give Cincy a chance. I am not sure I would bet on them to win but I won’t be surprised if they do - I think they are better than most CFB fans think and ND is not as good as their ranking (every season!).

I think this might be a year where ND is underrated.
That’s a rarity though.

I tend to lump ND in with UT, constantly overrated. Is all this love because they beat Wisconsin? Before that game the whole country was talking about what a terrible defense they have (the ND defense).
