I agree @KeenumEraCoog- I’ve always maintained that had Herman kept his attention solely on the team he was coaching in 2016- instead of on the job he wanted- UH would have beaten Navy, SMU, and Memphis, won the AAC championship, and made the CFP. They had already beaten the #3 and #5 teams, and I truly believe the committee would have put UH in.
