It would have been a simple gesture to answer Nunez for a 6pm CT time slot. Nope, espn made it clear to every BIG12 teams they could care less about the BIG12. You look at the TNT production last season or even FOX this season and the production quality is night and day…no pun intended.
Yes, post-Rob, they increased
From what I’ve learned about tokenization is that’s all AI is really doing… guessing at the answer but a lot of answers have a high probability of being right especially as the model gets post-training updates.
I’m an AI hardware guy, but digging into the other side…
ESPN2 broadcast crew for UCF vs UH game:
PxP: Anish Shroff
Analyst: Andre Ware
Sidelines: Morgan Uber
This is the third consecutive home game with rain in the forecast… we will have trouble breaking 25k.
Love seeing Andre back on campus.
Serious question:
How does AI hardware differ from non AI hardware? We’re not talking quantum computing already are we or is it just really really big registers like 1024 bits or something?
Asking as a proud University of Houston Computer Science degree Alumnus. ![]()
From an electrical perspective it doesn’t really differ except systems are way higher powered and almost 100% liquid cooled now…
But the way GPUs are networked together now is the main difference and how they can pass data to each other without going through a CPU (GPUdirect RDMA) is also a factor.
In these large AI clusters you might have 4-5k GPUs that you can cluster together through 800Gbps networking that can directly access each other’s memory instead of having to copy memory accesses in and out of system RAM.
We won’t be there, but our tickets will be used.

The GPU racks I work on are 150[kW]-220[kW] each, but trending up to 1[MW] per rack in the next couple of years…
This is all public info for the record.
From the link:
“Offensively, the Knights’ lifeblood is their rushing attack. UCF ranks 15th nationally at 5.94 yards per attempt, and only six teams have scored more rushing touchdowns.”
Something is going to give
They rushed for a ton of yards against Bethune Cookman (360 yards on 38 carries) and Georgia St (304 yards on 40 carries). But against P4 comp they were pedestrian. 22 yards against Pitt on 22 carries and 106 yards against TCU on 33 carries. I think the run D holds up just fine. Much more worried about the secondary ![]()
I’m watching to see how the run defense looks as the game progresses. It seems like we’ve started off strong and faded against better teams.
Their starting passing QB (Barnett) is out this Saturday
They could have wildcat QB in and I’d still worry about getting beat over the top lol
I HATE BLUE…stay with your school colors and quit trying to be so marketing “smart”. it’s stupid.
