That would have been terrible.
99% of any info derived from Coogs House on FB is 100% pure, unadulterated garbage. The level of sports, business, and UH history knowledge would barely register on any scale.
This statement in front of working media was so thirsty and ill-timed. I’m glad the powers that be decided to move on.

Does anyone know what got Pezman fired? It was obviously a knee-jerk reaction since a new AD was not already being recruited.
I took a screenshot of a persuasive post on Coogfans about why we should fire Pez and immediately emailed it to Dr Khator
Pez got fired the next day

This is the residue of hiring former Coogs. Everyone is too comfortable. Comfortable joking about millions of dollars, comfortable losing, comfortable settling, comfortable not doing much.
It’s why I don’t want Dickey. He can be a great AD somewhere else and come visit during homecoming. We need a high-strung hit man that’s in it for money, the media, and the swagger.

Duarte said Renu wanted to fire him in January but was convinced to wait. It sounded like they just weren’t aligned on things and Renu wanted to go in a different direction.

Renu probably wasn’t aligned on losing in football, WBB, WSB, baseball, tennis, and golf.
Like I said there’s always some guy willing to step up and say, “lets give him six more months. He’s an alum, you know.”
