What do you think of Creighton?

So I am getting killed on other message boards because I mentioned I don’t think Creighton has real national championship potential.

Don’t get me wrong McDermott is a good coach and Creighton is a good program. But I am not convinced they can reach that next level. I honestly think this may be near Creighton’s peak. I just don’t think with the caliber of players they get that McDermott will have what it takes to win 6 straight games in march. There will always be bigger programs in their conference. UConn, Xavier, Villanova. McDermott isn’t a top 3 coach in the big east either in my opinion.

So what do you think of Creighton? Agree? Disagree? I’m interested to potentially hear what y’all have to say.

My opinion is they never live up to preseason expectations whether those expectations are high or low

@Footballer13 their (2) starting guards are Pop Isaacs & Steven Ashworth.

Tiny guards you can score on.

They lost Trey Alexander & Baylor Schierman to the NBA.

Title contender, no way. Fun team to watch offensively

Ryan Kalkbrenner, their 7 footer, is fantastic

Competitive program for many years.

Never been to Final Four.

Never ranked #1 during the season.

Good, but not elite. At least, not yet.
