What does JD mean by this?

It means the start time and network will not be announced until next Sunday.

Thanks

If we both win we’ll be on a better channel.

They usually announce game times two Mondays before.

They reserve the right to only give six days notice, esp. for potentially big games.

Let’s make it 5-0 all time…and sack that 18 year old QB MULTIPLE times in order to “welcome” him to college football!

Me too!

I’m hoping we can both win this weekend so it will be a good atmosphere.

They are waiting to see the buzz of homecoming, if we can sell out the game then it will move up the TV board of channels. If no ticket sales, no interest, no fans = ESPN+

It does not work that way

Cu v az is a 3pm fox game this week
The cu v cinci proby gets the nod 10/26 for same slot
Wv vs Az would take the 630 slot
Then there is fs1
I think ks v kst or tech v tcu are more worthy selections
We are probably an espn + game
Which means we can play 230

If it doesn’t not work that way, why are big games always on prime stations at prime times. Games that conferences are trying to fill in will usually end up off times with smaller channels. Our rating were up with TCU because we were the only game on. They will wait 6 days out to see where to put us.

For example College Game Day will never go to a losing program with low fan support.

Do you remember the old days when Dallas had a halfway decent pro football team?

Sure. They’re not waiting to see our ticket sales to figure that out though. That was what @Cougardue was saying.

Amen brother…

Only you, me and a few other “Over the Hill” guys remember that far back . . . . .

Those days of a good Cowboys team are older and older.
