If selected as our next head coach, what will he run?
He has a history of running what he is given. But I can’t see us going back to this difficult to run offense.
DS or any QB will struggle surveying the field in a timely manner. Heck, there are only about 10 pros that can do it well.
My guess is RPO with a faster QB. But he does introduce option aspects into his O. This is similar to Chadwrll.

Whatever he comes up with, I am sure he will take advantage of our very deep WR corps.

Need to bring Vince Young in to teach him how to run the option read like Vince did. If Don is serious about going pro, he will hit the weight room heavy like Clayton did
He will adapt to what is the strength of what he has in front of him. If the right QB is available, he is very good coach to run the RPO. Very comfortable w that Offense.
Fritz is a master at adapting his offense to his talent.
He’s ran successful offenses with everything from the triple option to the spread.
I’m more excited about his solid defenses.

He lost his OC from last year. It has shown on the field. They still have an elite defense but offense not as good. He needs to hire a new OC

Amazing what knowing your coach is leaving can do to a team. Even Keenum couldn’t overcome it.
Was that a Pratt audible into that play action pass? SMU was loaded up for QB sneak.

Based on calling a run play on 3rd and 5 late in the game down by 9, not an offense I want at UH.

Tulane was getting crushed on the pass rush and Pratt was hurt the second half. If you can’t run then you can’t win anyway.

I am very discouraged by what I saw. Compare with the creative offense UT showed today (and I am no fan of that school).
