Way to post a list that UH isn’t even on
I’m surprised USC is not even in the top 10.
I’ve been told here that Bama, lsu, and ou are poor schools.
How is that possible when they get $51 million in tv money a year plus they sell out every game.
East Carolina’s athletics department is “more valuable” than UH?
Alright then lol
And Memphis?
Oh because they are poor states with lacking NIL potential. A flawed theory put forth by a poster
One more factoid as the reason Pezman is no longer Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, aka, Athletic Director.
And if you argue that UH is still making up ground for being in the AAC until 2023, you would be right, but I need to point out that UCF and Cincinnati were in the AAC, and both made the list.
There were several schools that I wanted to mention, but ended up naming the one school never brought up in realignment talks.
Baffling.
This list is important, and gives an idea for what UH needs to shoot for! UH not being on it is hardly surprising. I’d be worried if we aren’t on it in another 3-5 years!
Not flawed at all. Saban saw the writing on the wall. He knows Bama, eventually, won’t be able to keep up with a, Ohio st, or t.u.
If we play our cards right, we can benefit greatly from this NIL era.
Same for LSU, poor state. Poor t-shirt fans.
I think people are counting out Bama way too much
I think they won’t have the same dominance as they used to, but they won’t fall off a cliff that quickly
They can still be a 8-4 type of team. But, like you said, they won’t be dominant like they once were.
Saban knew it.
Correct value doesn’t equal cash on hand for there collective. Brian Kelly putting in $1 million isn’t coming from a place of strength
Money does not buy you everything. It sure helps but collegiate football statistics speak for themselves.
How many National Championships has uta won in the last twenty years?
1
bama?
8
uta might have a ton of money thanks to the puf but they do not even come close to bama, Georgia or even Clemson.
just chiming in to say I had no idea Miami was a private university.
There is minimal level of investment required to win at a high level. Anything past that doesn’t guarantee anything. I do think the bar has raised with NIL which means other programs have an ability to compete if they have the $$$
