The Colony. The eccentric collection is the creation of World War II veteran and plumber Barney Smith, who combined his profession with his passion for art to decorate discarded toilet seats over the course of more than seven decades. He opened the Toilet Seat Art Museum in the garage of his San Antonio home in the 1990s, and it was sold to Jason Boso, owner of the Truck Yard beer garden, in 2019.
