I don’t care if we are rebuilding…i don’t care if dana left the cupboard bare but we should not have the worst offense in the P4
and excuses are the biggest barrier to getting something done.
This is a very interesting reply.
- You know for a fact that some of what is here, is not his.
- You also know for a fact what kind of time frame he was on to fill holes.
- You also have a fair idea what he had to work with as far as NIL goes
and yet, you make a post like this one which, with all that you know, makes zero logical sense.
I said before the season started and have seen for my own eyes, the OL is the key.
Meh, if transitioning to a different offense means severe growing pains then so be it in order to grow for the future. Every year Dana seemed to want to transition to a more run based offense and when we struggled with it, we half assed the running game and in turn half-assed a run/spread with some Air Raid concepts to jump start an offense - every time doing this we didn’t build for the future, we just half assed patched a season.
That didn’t do crap for each succeeding season so I’m ready to do something different instead of expecting something to change but not changing what we do.
Send them to a lower level of football . . . . .
Relax Fritz needs 7 years to turn this program around.
From the comments I have been reading about the lack of coaching - I have to assume many commenting on Coogfans graduated and within a year of graduation, were nominated for CEO of the businesses they went to work for.
Depends on rebuild strategy. If it predominantly HS supplemented with JC & transfers it will be slower but more substantial in the long run. I don’t know if he would get that much time, but if so:
3-9
5-7
7-5
7/8-5/4
A couple 5* or big time transfers would speed it up, injuries or transfers out could torpedo it.
We cant afford to wait 7 years
Next year you will see real improvements. By year three we will be competing for Championships. Write it down.
Maybe they have.
