I don’t give a crap about Megan Rapinoe and she likely deserves the criticism but what would we even get out of this discussion except a chance to feel morally superior or a chance to bash whatever political or socio-political positions she may have taken.
What is the point of any of these discussions? I would recommend that if you don’t want to read it, then move on. I think I’ve read that advice from mods before.
This woman has been outspoken, always inserting herself as a morally superior voice on many issues. Maybe there is still time for her to opine on the Iranian women’s team.

Its not even hypocritical if she doesn’t comment on this. It’s the same inane BS they tried to smear any outspoken person/activist. They would do this with Dr. King Jr. all the time. It was stupid then as it is now. If the implication is that Rapinoe somehow actually doesn’t care about women’s rights because she hasn’t said anything about the Iranian women’s football team getting asylum in a totally different country halfway around the world its comically unbased. But she criticized American men publicly so she must be punished and attacked I guess.
