More realistically, I’m dreaming of playing Whorn in the Alamo or (especially) Texas Bowl. It’d be a whole lot of fun and we could actually compete with this Texas team which is good but not elite.
That said, I hope we finish the regular season 12-1 but if we fall short, the above wouldn’t be a bad alternative.
Screw UT. I want them to lose out and have a team meeting to decide if they want to go to Shreveport or not.
SEC wouldn’t let that matchup happen.
Also, there are only four games left in the regular season and we may very well be favored in all of them. The dream isn’t as far-fetched as it was a couple of weeks ago.
So as I was saying, the Texas Bowl’ll be fun.
If 40,000 Coog fans packed the house today and we didn’t bring our A game and lost to fall to 7-2 then that wouldn’t be the end of the world nobody was demanding an 11-1 team this season. The biggest loss today is seeing our boys needing help out there at home, in our city, our backyard and our fans being no where to be found. We can get past the poor result on the field today. Not everyday is going to be our day. But we cannot get past the piss poor fanbase.
All we need is for gAg to beat Whorn and we likely have Whorn in the Texas or Alamo Bowl
