Hi Houston Fans,

Since 2014, we—the students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project—have been studying the effects of rivalries for sports in North America. Now we are expanding our research to College Basketball. Please help us ensure that the Houston Cougars are included by taking 10 minutes to complete our updated survey:

We use the Qualtrics online survey software for data collection. This academic research has been approved by two US universities’ Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and it poses no risks to respondents. You’ll find more information on the disclosure agreement that is required to start the survey. Very cool project and results. Interesting stuff. I recommend you check it out if you haven’t yet – the survey does take 5-10 minutes, but doesn’t require any identifying information.

In addition to checking out Houston’s rivals, and who considers us their rivals, I clicked around some other random teams. Who knew that the Akron Zips and Kent State Golden Flashes were such huge rivals? :slight_smile:
