Nobody that you haven’t heard of except for the UNT head coach, Seth Littrell, who I can’t see getting a sniff at this point. Pendergast has Lincoln RIley up top.

I said Seth Littrell was a good option early on, but at this point I don’t think he has a realistic shot at the job. He’d probably make a fine coach here, but he won’t get the opportunity.

No, he just hasn’t had long enough at UNT; fair or not, fanbase probably wouldn’t respond well to a coach that was 5-7 this year.

I am surprised that Willy Fritz at Tulane isn’t being talked about.
He was a big winner at Sam Houston State, then turned around Georgia Southern before going to Tulane last year,

He runs high powered offenses. He is 56, not a sexy hire, but might want to stay here and really build upon what the last 3 coaches have started.

That option offense would take a bit to implement and he’s had one year at Tulane and it wasn’t good.

I like Fritz, he should be a success, but we are looking for a bigger name right now.

I don’t understand the shine on Lincoln Riley. ECU didn’t win anything with him and OU’s offense while better hasn’t been world beaters.
