The last D-lineman with this much hype around him his freshman season was Clowney. He had a great freshman year, but only made All-American his sophomore and junior seasons. Oliver already has better stats than Clowney did, but of course SEC vs AAC. Oliver will end up with twice as many tackles and tackles for a loss. Clowney had 8 sacks and 5 forced fumbles, Oliver currently has 5 and 3. I will also point out Clowney was a DE. I cannot think of any nose tackle who has played like this.
