Just kind of weird, a whale graveyard. I was wondering if whales knowingly go there to die. But alas, the common explanation is probably the right one. They
simply die where they frequently feed.
The whales were believed to have died in such numbers in this particular area because it is a popular foraging habitat – and has a V-shaped trench that funnels carcasses to the seafloor.
What could it possibly have been in a whale graveyard thread ? lol
