Hell no, we have a good coach, he needs to make adjustments. We lost in Lubbock, that can happen to anybody even though we should’ve had it. Bring back Levine and put him in charge of recruiting.

CDH needs to force his whole staff to watch the infamous Oilers Meltdown at Buffalo. If you run the ball everytime and wait for the play clock to tick down, you limit the amount of time the other team has the ball.
The clock is an active participant in these games- use it to your advantage!

Heck no! Saw him last week on TV and he looked goofy. I don’t think he’ll last long as a color commentator.
Loved what he did for UH but don’t think he could catch lightning in a bottle twice.

The reason is worked was because of Ward. Herman had he been OC or hired a better OC than Apple white we’d been good but he didn’t.
Orlando’s defense was fine until people started noticing how to beat it that second year.
So as long as they kept trying new things and upgrading not only the players but the staff as well when they’re not performing we would’ve been fine.
Unlike this dude that runs the same plays, has been here multiple years and got beat by a first college year head coach. Had the game last 48 seconds, then first OT. But threw it away.

Nah. Ward definitely was a huge part. But I don’t think that 2015 team plays the way they did, without Herman coaching them up.

There are very few programs that rehire former head coaches. Mac Brown at UNC and Bill Snyder at Kansas State come to mind.
I’d bring back Tom Herman in a minute. Only conference winning UH coach in 16 years and the only UH head coach to win a major bowl in 30 years.
Beat two top 5 teams in Oklahoma and Loiseville.

Even in another scenario where he sticks around the first time, he always has the wandering eye. I enjoyed most of his time here, but it doesn’t seem like a fit anymore.

Dana is going to be good for us longterm. Only way let Herman back is if the buyout is so huge , he can’t look around each yr. Dana will get it done.

Ward alone didn’t create that special season. The rest of the team elevated their play because of Herman. Levine wouldn’t have gotten them to a Peach Bowl, I’m sure of that.
