Home and home with any or all of UT, OU, LSU or aggy using Reliant. The odds of them agreeing to play in 40K stadium when they’re used to playing in front of 90K are zero. That’s just cold hard arithmetic.

They might for 70K and a nice paycheck tho.

The OU game and the LSU Bowl game were the kind of magic that’d be hard to duplicate at TDECU. The Tech game at Robertson, Louisville in 16 and whorn in 23 showed some leg but games with a lot more people look like a lot more fun.

Oh, and Sark was absolutely right about Tech.

If it were my call, I’d play them there but not as our home game. Similar to what we have done for basketball at Toyota.

Nah. If it’s at NRG, it’s a neutral site. If it’s good enough for LSU it’s good enough for TAMU and Texas.

If you ask UT, A&M, LSU, or OU, the reason they want to play at Reliant Stadium is they want a bigger venue so more of our fans can attend. The real reason is they want to negate UH’s home field advantage.

College sports is all about money nowadays. If UH can make significantly more money playing those teams at Reliant, I’m for it. But it has to be significantly more.

If Texas wants to play in Houston, I’ll listen. BTW, I can’t see that happening anytime soon.

The cows may never play us again and I am OK with that. Playing the cows is always on their terms with their rules. Frankly, I would LOVE to see a home and home with LSU in every sport- same thing with Arkansas and Oklahoma.

We can play a neutral with them at NRG/Reliant. No return games. They won’t play us at our home stadium we aren’t playing them at their home stadium. This isn’t 2006 it’s 2026. My 2 cents

I’m 100% on board with doing NRG/Reliant as our big time OOC home game if it means games against OU, TexAgs, LSU, and Texas.

Anyone else needs to be a home and away.

This. Neutral game is fine. Home and home they are coming to TDECU.

I have zero concern how many of their fans can attend an away game.

Why agy hi instead of whorn?
Agy refused to play us when the SWC fell apart while at least Texas did play us a couple of times in football, at least until the bleachergate episode.
And don’t forget it was agy who called off our basketball series.
Like them or not, and I don’t, Texas is a huge draw and a hated foe. Our biggest crowd at TDECU was against Texas, and to be honest, the crowd was 80% Coogs…
So yeah, I would play them home and home any day of the week. But don’t make our game at a neutral site and then have us going to Austin the next year.
If you want to play on a neutral field then play on a neutral field every year.
