Well most athletic stuff is privately funded like ours except for the student fees for the stadium we built. Sports is the front door and without big time sec sports, many wouldn’t care if they went to Lsu. They could go to LA LA or Louisiana tech. Sports make Lsu great just like UH bc if we didn’t have it, we’d be univ of st thomas.

I think the sec is gonna be too strong where it kills former good teams. It will be interesting how OU does vs what they did big12.
