It’s just plain silly to “be insulted” by a fan wearing their team’s colors to a game that their team is not playing in… plain & simple.
I guess maaaaayyybe I can see it for intense rivalries like Dook-UNC, Bama-Auburn, etc… maaaaaayybe…

I thought about this too…
While I believe wearing an Auburn jersey to an Alabama game (or visa versa), if they’re not playing each other is well within someone’s rights, it’s probably not a smart thing to do, unless you’re a badass…

To think that the people going to a game care about what other people are wearing is pretty lame. I see all kinds of other teams’ logo at our game and my only feeling about it is that our team is interesting enough for them to come out and watch in person. But at the time, I don’t give it a second thought. I am happy to see the seat filled because enough UH fans don’t seem to care enough to come out.

I sat in the TCU section near end zone wearing my UH gear. I did get what are you doing here but most including the young every other wird F this crowd was ok

Well, when I lived in the DC area, I used to wear Astros duds to Orioles and Nationals games, even when they weren’t playing the ‘stros

My two favorite teams are UH and anyone playing Texas, narrow that down to the B12 it’s UH and anyone playing Tech. The only caveat to that is if there’s a scenario where Tech winning helps us.

One of the funniest things I ever saw was in California when UH played UCLA and we had a pep rally at the game beforehand and this IDIOT showed up with cow gear on. He made about one round in the clubhouse then the DOPE left.
