I agree they had an advantage for the game next week since we have yet to play. But I also think maybe if we had played, with less depth for Memphis, that could have been our advantage to totally capitalize on.

My son just confirmed, Memphis has been postponed

True! I was assuming Memphis didn’t get this infection wave. It may be best if we play later for game interest and what could be on the line.

He’s actually put 2-3 Tweets out on this. But let the chirping begin or it’s actually 24/7.

I have to believe ESPN is going to try and get this game on Fri to fill that slot. Houston vs Baylor, P6 matchup. Former AAC coach against a Former BigXII coach now coaching in the opposite conferences.

I say NO until They (Baylor) schedule a 2 for 2 in Football. Why help their strength of schedule???

Sorry, I thought this was about Basketball. Then I take back what I said, Baylor… :stuck_out_tongue:

Aranda came from LSU. Rhule is in the NFL now. What’s interesting is the FSU vs GA Tech game. Two former AAC coaches. It’s a pretty good low-scoring game so far.

I don’t think you understand how this kind of thing works. Hence, you are wrong again.

Fox at noon EST - 11AM Houston time… FYI - Waco forecast next Saturday is 80 degrees for the high.

Dave Aranda was an assistant defensive coach here under Briles.

I had the privilege of talking to him for about ten minutes one time. He was a very nice guy.

Maybe he helped get this series in light of earlier, fond memories of UH?

I don’t know. But it couldn’t have hurt.

Mack Rhoades probably helped it happen as well.

I’m sure he has our best interest in mind.
