wow. this is quite a pick up.

Ruhle has the makings of a great team in his 2018 class. Let’s see what he can do with it.

I wonder if we’re still one of his top schools under consideration

Easy to sell recruits when you can promise starting jobs immediately in a P5 conference.

His only visit after committing to Texas was TCU on Dec 15 so I’m assuming TCU impressed him

Maybe he got wind of this:

Did UH offer Coburn? Would he be terrific playing with EO?

Yep, he was offered. One of the hopes with bringing in Blum is that he might be able to influence Coburn to come.

Interesting…

Decommitted from Kansas in October. Official visit to Ole Miss earlier in December, unofficial to aggieland last weekend. What exactly is a Pro-style QB supposed to be good at? That’s the classification given to Allen and Postma and although KP did alright at QB in our DT system, KA was a dud as we all know.

Just another offer. He’ll go where he wants to go.

Completely agree. It all comes down to if he believes in our philosophy or not. Ultimately the players that we have signed so far all believe in the system and to me that means they’re going to give 100 percent without question. I think that’s also where effort can definitely outweigh talent.

I like his instincts and the way he sees the field. His decision making is what impresses me. He has a ton of room to improve on. His throwing motion is what it is but he has some difficulties in mid range to long ball throws.

Some kids dream of playing in huge stadiums and on TV every Saturday. Nothing wrong with that. I would think our biggest pitch is that underclassmen can start without having to beat out a bunch of 4* and 5* recruits stacked two-deep, still be on TV. As he’s not from Texas, that may work in our favor. Who knows?

Only watched a few minutes of his highlights, saw a kick return td and two rushing tds from about the 10 on a read option. He had 9 rushing tds his senior season. Doesn’t look super fast, but looks tough and is bigger so a little harder to bring down.
