Harris is a good analogy for the level of rawness, but VI may have been even more raw honestly.
Izundu couldnât even catch the ball while he was here and had zero rebounding instincts. As to the latter, I think I remember him averaging like 6 rebounds a game or something in high school, which seemed really, really low for someone with his height and athleticism.
The only thing he showed any potential for while he was here was shot blocking.
Happy for him that he was able to put it together a bit during his senior year at SDSU, though.

Decommitted from A&M in April and then Sampson got him to commit to us in hopes he could get his grades issues fixed. Didnât happen though.

Both Harris and Izundu are very similar in skill setâŠbut personally I think Harris is more coachable and willing to do what coach wants him to.
I saw Izundu block 11 or 12 shots in a playoff game, but he absolutely no offensive game whatsoever. Harris, however, is not only a very good shot blocker but he is also a very good rebounder. And while he is less than steller on the offensive end, he can go up and dunk and does alley oops well.
Hopefully he develops some kind of hook shot this summer and improves his awful free throw shooting. Once again, in all my years of being a Coog fan I canât remember a worse free throw shooterâŠ
