Thanks for the correction on Cincinnati. Lol
We’ll see.
But you seem to have it all figured out before the season.
Cincy has a tough schedule both in and out of conference. Buckeyes and they draw us and Memphis in the West.
He’s been eating Kalteen bars. Needed to beef up a little.
Anyone with the ESPN app and ESPN3, their coverage of media day is available on demand in the AAC section. 2 hours total 1 on 1 interview with all 12 coaches. CDH is next to last about 1 hr 45 min in. And yes you can fast forward.
Dude, That’s Flemming. He’s supposed to be that large.
No 5, his body actually looks bigger than Fleming in these pictures.
No guarantees, but Cincy has a lot more answers in the preseason than we do and are in their 3rd year under a coach who’s recruited near the top of the league for a few cycles now.
I’ll own it if I am wrong, but unlike you I’ve done my homework.
Thanks for your your insight to your brilliant research
" Jeff Jacobs: As they gather before they split, UConn and AAC both shooting for the moon"
A very fitting analogy for UGone-AAC split:
“The scenes of this expensive divorce on Tuesday morning were staged at Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina, a beautiful facility on Goat Island typically reserved for, go figure, expensive weddings.”
“Mike Anthony: As the divorce proceedings continue, UConn and AAC looking to move on with their new respective lives”
https://outline.com/4vGLRf
This stood out:
"Whispers around Divorce Resort Tuesday were that the fee could end up north of $15 million, and that the AAC has leverage in that a 2020 departure would actually be leaving two years early, not one.
Typical arrogant UConn writer. UConn will be okay, poor AAC putting a stiff upper lip out to say they are going to be okay. Then suggesting we would be better to keep UConn as a football only. Yes, you can argue their basketball added value. We lose nothing and gain by not having them for football.
UCONN football departure is a major plus for our league !
3. D’Eriq King passes first test of season
Of the 42 players from 12 schools attending media days, UH’s senior quarterback was the headliner. And, boy, was he in demand, moving from room-to-room to do print and television interviews during a rapid-fire three-hour window. King was insightful (he believes the UH offense has unlimited potential). He was honest (he stood by his offseason tweet that student-athletes should be paid). He was playful (he snapped a photo with a lobster at Monday’s clambake but admitted he’s a ‘picky’ eater and declined to eat it). Make no mistake: this is King’s team.
Conference posted a ton of videos from Media Days so I’m going to dump them all in this post. I apologize ahead of time if some of these were already posted. Been a bit busy with family issues lately which is taking up a lot of my time.
