I am sure Tapusoa is an excellent athlete, but there is no replacement for Ed Oliver. Once in a generation player.

3* DT out of Eastern Arizona College and originally from Salt Lake City, UT. Big guy, 6’3" 325 so he’ll take up a lot of space. He had one other offer: Idaho
Last year at Eastern Arizona as a freshman, he made 29 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 forced fumble. He played on a defense that gave up 20.4 points per game, was 2nd among all JUCO teams in interceptions and 1st overall for Defensive TDs.
He’ll be another one that will be here in the spring.

I knew about him loving UH since this morning. Glad it came into fruition.
I thought Aymiel Fleming was in line to replace Oliver. Even Ed mentioned his progress on one of the videos.
tapusosa is expected to make an impact right away. hopefully fleming has a good year this year as a jr but tapusosa so far is our highest rated recruit.
I just love their mascot is the Gila Monster
What I see is a big feller who can accelerate well and has a very strong grip! I like this guy.
