They all can play the same system, Mayor Applewhite wants to run. They’re all super athletic, dual threat quarterbacks. Amie, for his size, can run fast and is quick. That arm is a cannon.

We can afford miss a QB this cycle. There is too much overlap between Smith and Amie. This is soon to be 2018, kids are not sitting for 3 years to start 1 year at QB. One will eventually transfer.

Rated third by 247’s recruiting services mumbo jumbo. I’d say Mutin and Brown are our top recruits based on position of need.

RB is a big need as well, so Kelan Walker is quite important, IMHO.

The SMU flip and chance go to different High Schools. I doubt it’s a big deal.

A big deal is that they beat Clemson which I’m sure recruiters emphasize for all its worth.

You don’t want to lose any recruit to Syracuse, particularly a TX kid. But there are other areas I’m much more worried about (OL, DBs) in the big picture as compared to QB. Obviously, that does put more pressure not to miss in the 2019 cycle, though.
