A lot about the new OG duo in this article by Duarte.
True, but very few actually come out and slam the previous staff which he did. Love CDH, think heās the perfect fit for UH
I was noticing the other day when looking at the OL depth that we were hurting behind the starters. Eloph retiring was a huge loss and the only two others that could really step in were Juniors Dennis Bardwell (should be a redshirt sophomore, but the previous staff had to get him a couple of snaps in 2 games his freshman year before the 4 game rule) and Keenan Murphy. I think CDH would love to redshirt Bardwell this year if possible, but that may depend on injuries. Beyond that, weāve basically got redshirt freshman, freshman, and walk-ons to fill out the depth chart.
Whereās the blame lie? Much like the defense, you can probably point at Tom Herman. Unlike the defense, he did recruit OL, problem was that when he left, we lost most of our lineman from the 2017 class. Hell, Sam Cosmi was the last guy that he stole from us, and heās considered to be the top OT in the Big12 according to PFF. Ended up with one OL from the 2017 class (Bardwell) and weāre feeling the effects of that now.
For sure there is more to a hard practice than physical contact.
The OL looks to be a strong position area this season, which should make our offense even more explosive.
Itās only rock 'n roll, but I like it, like itā¦yes I do.
It worked for Herman coming out of the blocks in mid season quality while OU was easing into their first game of the season.

Yeah Mark, if we had not lost to Navy, SMU, and Memphis I would agree. However, our midseason form was way down. Was it partially due to missing players from being worn out and busted up, I donāt know for sure; but those were the conditions. Regardless, I think LTH did not have a high priority on keeping guys healthy. He was all about himself and his next gig.
How many other college football teams can roll down and hang with the NFL team especially at a duel practice with the Lions?
You know that stuff is all over Instagram and Twitter
I didnāt know attending NFL practices would be NCAA legal but Iām sure itās fine since theyāre there. Reliant gets some publicity for the kickoff game out of it. Also CDH invites HS coaches to practice all the time so this is a natural pay it forward.
Our facility upgrades have been huge inroads with the NBA and NFL teams.
But you canāt learn anything from Obrien coachesā¦please find another team, far away from Houston.
Please keep our QBās away from BOB. He is a QB killer!
Holgorsen said that Case got to shadow Drew Breese during a practice and was helpful
Tulaneās made a big deal about the fact that they visit the Saints and the Saints usually pump it up. Wish the Texans would make a big deal about it when our guys are over there.
Hell, they just had a Tulane Fan Fest when the Saints came over to Tulane to get some practice in.
Even the last two years with all of our problems on the field, we were more exciting than the Texans. I tried watching a few of their games and they put me to sleep. Seriously. So maybe BOB sees us as competition?
Red80 I hope CDH is a balanced approach then.

I would have loved it more if Coach Holgorsen went a few miles further north and visited Sean Payton and the Saints instead! They know how to run a winning program unlike OāBraindead!
I concur. Only exciting times in Texans History for me:
David Carr first Texans victory over Cowboys 19 - 10.
Defensive win over Pittsburgh 27 - 3.
All of Case Keenum games.
Competition for what? Theyāre an NFL team. They will always draw in this town regardless, simply because of that fact.
One of the ugliest games in football history.
