The Rams didn’t practice Friday. Regulars who made the Houston trip, but didn’t suit up for the game, practiced earlier Thursday at the University of Houston. McVay said the humidity was good preparation for what the team might face in Charlotte.
I kind of hope something gets done about the roster limits. 53 spots is just too little for this day and age, especially when you see teams with 20-30 guys on IR by the end of the year.
Just make the practice squad spots actual roster spots and let teams designate their active roster each week. I know they worry that one team will hoard too much talent, but wouldn’t it make more sense for a team to be able to carry enough guys to allow them to rest a few players instead…maybe you wouldn’t have so many injuries.
Anyway…Hines, Thurman, T.Williams, and Ward all got cut. I think Ward gets picked up by another team, but we’ll see.
2 coog qb’s on nfl rosters…and all the rest of the coog players are defensive players…what does that mean? That the coogs can get defenders and qb’s, but not the rest of the offensive recruits?
