This just means he’s going to miss out on something special here in Houston. Also, what is up with the commitment video? Is this new “hat ceremony”? Are we going to have to start sitting through these every time someone announces a commitment?

Sucks. I remember we were the first school to have received an unofficial visit from him over a year ago. I thought we had it in the bag until I found it his dad attended Texas Tech a few months later. At that point, I pretty much saw the writing in the wall while remaining optimistic.
