Didn’t know what to do since it’s required you pick a delivery method when checking out online. When I picked UPS, it showed my address as where they would be shipped. I called the UH ticket office and they said you can select either UPS or will call, the tickets will get delivered to the military.
MarkJacob posted - “Bought 2 tickets for our men & women in the military. Thank you for your service. They’ll be there for me as I can’t make that trip. Go Coogs!”
I did the same as we can’t make the trip. Also confirmed with CP the purchase of the military package helps sell our required allotment of tickets. I assumed the purchase would go towards the allotment, just wanted to confirm. GO COOGS!
Does anyone know if we could send a care package with those tickets? I’d like to donate some tickets and some U of H shirts. It would be nice to see some red in the stadium.
Thought it said they got a T-shirt too. I hope it counts against our UH ticket allotment. I bought it through UH online. Being so far away they should give us double credit! Good Coogs!
Anyone else concerned about the opponent and location? Fresno plays in Hawaii all the time compared to us. They know how to take a business trip there. I would compare it to Vegas and SDSU except this is an even more unique destination. Do we have the senior and coaching leadership to ensure travel distractions don’t play a factor this time? At least there is more stability with our coaches this year.
These bowls are tricky. Much of your time or how it is spent is dictated by the bowl schedule. You try and make your practice time as productive as possible I assume.
I would say a key would be getting them to “re focus” day before game…lot distractions all week . They need be prepared and focused on game day. These games are tough, there are so many bowls and they …dare I say it…don’t really matter for anything. They matter to us fans, matter to coaches, but your not playing for anything…no championship. Years ago it meant something to be Rose or Orange or Cotton etc Champ…today half of FBS schools go to one. It’s a tough task …not your regular business trip or road game.
